Chelsea Himsworth Program Lead, Veterinarian
Dr. Himsworth is a veterinary pathologist and epidemiologist with over 14 years of experience studying infectious diseases in animal populations. Her work is focused on real-time disease monitoring and effective mitigation strategies.
Kazal Ghosh Veterinary Microbiologist
Dr. Ghosh is a veterinary microbiologist at the Animal Health Center. He will be providing professional service support with laboratory diagnostics for the BC Salmonella Dublin investigation and management program.
Ellen Boyd, Research Associate, Veterinarian
Dr. Boyd is a veterinarian with experience in disease surveillance and regulatory medicine. The research program will be part of her graduate thesis with UBC, supervised by Dr. Himsworth.
John Dick Program Lead,
Veterinarian
Dr. Dick is a bovine practitioner with over 20 years of experience working in the dairy industry in British Columbia. His professional interests are in dairy production and preventative medicine.
Erin Cuthbert Program Liaison, Provincial Dairy Technologist
Erin grew up on a dairy farm on Vancouver Island, and is the provincial dairy technologist with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries. She has 7 years of experience working alongside dairy producers and industry representatives in the province.
